We completed our 3rd and final training session this morning. The first two of four fixtures kick off later this evening, and the team’s ready to give it everything! ⚽🔥 ¡Vamos!

Our girls were the first to take the pitch tonight in a friendly fixture against a local Spanish team — and what a performance! In 30°C heat, they showed incredible determination, teamwork, and spirit. A superb effort all round — they’ve set the bar high for the boys to follow!

Football took a back seat today as students and staff enjoyed a full day of fun at Parque Warner Madrid! 🎢☀️ Everyone had a fantastic time — with plenty of laughter and memories made. A well-deserved break before we’re back on the pitch!

This week, a group of our Year 9 and 10 students enjoyed a brilliant trip to the NHS Dentistry Training Centre in Altrincham, organised by the Manchester United Foundation. A fantastic opportunity to explore the world of dental care, technology, and future career pathways 🦷🪥

During today’s CPD session, staff took part in a focused “book look” to explore the implementation of the curriculum across subjects. It was a valuable opportunity to celebrate student success, evaluate impact, and plan next steps to support continued progress and improvement.

Yesterday, our Year 8 rugby team took part in the Rugby League Inspiring Futures Programme, delivered in partnership with the Rugby Football League and Salford Red Devils 🏉🙌

This week, 15 Yr9 students visited the University of Bolton for a day of sport and science, organised by the Manchester United Foundation. From climbing a 50ft wall to testing reactions, students got hands-on with a range of activities linked to sports science.

Today, the entire school came together to form a Guard of Honour for our amazing Year 11 students on their last full day as ICA students! 👏💙 It was a moment filled with pride, cheers, and a few happy tears as we celebrated everything they’ve achieved so far.
