The truth. It’s really simple. The authorities lied. The Hillsborough Survivors Association sends its collective love to the bereaved families & our fellow survivors as we remember the 97 innocent people unlawfully killed by South Yorkshire Police on 15 April 1989.

Today I reintroduced the Hillsborough Law to Parliament. The Prime Minister promised enacting this legislation would be one of his first acts in office. A year on, he still hasn’t done it. I’m showing him that it’s here and ready to go. It just needs political will.

Reports that today the govt introduces a "Duty of candour" for public officials as part of a Hillsborough Law. The The Hillsborough Survivors Association position on the South Yorks and West Midlands Police is clear. "You were so corrupt that they had to change the law" #JFT97 #HillsboroughLawNow

Re Hillsborough Law and the parity of funding for the bereaved. A reminder that survivors were denied legal representation at the Hillsborough inquests/inquiry.
