I've seen lots of observations recently of dark-eyed Gannets, touted as a possible link to birds having contracted HPAI. Before yesterday, I'd never seen a dark-eyed bird Fair Isle Bird Observatory, but a scan of c.30 birds that I could get a good look at found 7 with at least one fully dark eye
