Swallows are preparing to leave for South Africa. I’m always sad to see them go & miss their chatter once they’ve gone. Our farm’s insect population at least contributed to a healthy increase in swallow population. Hopefully most of them shall return next spring

Today’s garden delights: Hydrangeas are at their most glorious around cottage. I absolutely adore Rudbeckia Black Eyed Susan’s which are at their height of blooming. Both cats Thyme and Mustard wanted to take part in photos
