This is such a Sunday mood 😴 from Kacey, the Sun bear!
Believe it or not, these bears don’t get their name from their love of the sun or their sunny disposition. Instead, Sun bears are named for the crescent-shaped orange patch on their chest that resembles the rising sun! ☀️

Happy World Tapir Day! 🎉

We are so proud of our marvelous Malayan Tapir Family and what their success means for the conservation of this endangered species. The staff at ZooTampa put a great deal of time and effort into ensuring that Munah, Ubi, and Albert get the best care.
