Zonta Oakville members Catherine and Donna attended the OFFA IWD celebration event on Sunday evening. The event film was "Maya and The Wave". Proceeds from the event were going to United Way Halton and Hamilton's United Women's GLOW programme for mentoring young girls.

Last weekend, Zonta Oakville members, Sarah, Marnie, Kathy and Carolyn, attended the Zonta D4 Area 1&2 "Spring Summit". The day centred around the theme of "Ready and Resilient". Sarah gave a presentation on personal emergency preparedness. #readyandresilient #zontad4

Last week we had one of the highlight events of the Zonta Oakville year - our Grant Recipient Reception. This year we gave over $64,500 to 11 Oakville charities. Check in over the next few days to learn more about our recipients and how they are putting the funding to use.

Hippy Halton recently received a 2025 Grant from Zonta Oakville. HIPPY's peer Home Visitors assist vulnerable, low-income and isolated Canadian and newcomer mothers and their children. The program provides free preschool literacy education that may not otherwise be available.
