I like how Central Characters had to be added explicitly to have some way to exclude Final Wars, even though those two don't even interact in said film so it's still irrelevant lmfao. Mothzilla is ALL a Showa vibes ship, MV Mothra is GTTHM Mothra reborn in a lot of respects.

I love that Toho is doing a Mothra Year, Heisei Mothra trilogy love SPECIFICALLY makes me so happy I could explode and you all know why 💚 BUT It does feel like a mild backhanded blow given that Mothra hasn't had a PROPER appearance in a Toho film for 22 YEARS out of those 30.
