There is no doubt that difficult decisions had to be made during budget, partly due to the £102m 3 year black hole left by Labour due to their equal pay legacy, but it is utterly hypocritical to stand with a sign saying no education cuts when these cllrs voted to cut 650 teachers

We have protected the Holiday Food and Activity Programme which is used by over 23,000 kids across the whole city. Labour cut £1.5 million from it making it undeliverable.

Jill, the holiday food programme doesn’t appear in the Labour budget. It means you have allocated £0 to it. That means you have not funded it. That is a complete eradication of the service. It’s not that difficult to understand.

Kezia won't be the only one.

There continues to be a cosy Westminster consensus on Brexit. Despite the devastating damage it is doing to our economy & society, no UK-based party is willing to oppose it.

With independence, we can rejoin the EU as a member state in our own right.
