Just got back from dinner with a large group of people who’re not my usual social group. Someone brought up the awful treatment Meghan gets from the Brit Tabloids & everyone chimed in with examples. It warmed my heart that so many people see the tabloid BS for what it is.

They saw right through the double standards, were dismissive of the hysterical headlines & made fun of the ridiculousness of the monarchist whinging whilst obsessively following Meg’s every move. These were not H & M fans but ordinary people sick of the bullying of MM.

All the tabloids are doing now, at least here in Australia, is turning people who ordinarily don’t pay attention to royal news, against the royal family. As this group said, there’s no way anyone can have so much being written about them unless it’s a coordinated hit job.
