You read about Teamsters 205 strike 'settlement' with Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, but don't be fooled, they surrendered, which is no surprise considering their principal officer is a former cop. Carl A. Bailey was tired of strike costs and cowered to power and ratfucked the other workers.

Teamsters 205, under pressure from their not-a-worker leader, took a buyout package and decertified their unit. There is no longer a Teamster unit at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. The strikers of 1992 would be ashamed.

During our strike, the Teamsters International and their glad-handing with right-wingers president Sean M. O'Brien have donated exactly zero dollars to our strike relief efforts. Teamster locals and councils have donated, but Teamster HQ has been 100% absent.

Newsroom workers, @pghguild members, are standing strong on strike. This strike has always been about securing the future of strong union journalism in Pittsburgh and that doesn't change today.
