Cybernetic Periodization⬇️ Spoken about in Supertraining by Dr. Siff, this is the idea that training should adapt to the athlete day to day. There’s no way to predict performance session to session… programs that are too rigid end up failing the athlete. Flexible systems win.

I use a lot of distraction techniques when Athletes come in beat up. My ankle has been bothering me the last few days and within 15 minutes, no pain or soreness. Distraction techniques are truly dark magic.

Squatting has a unique effect on short distance sprinting because both the knee and hip extend at the same time. By strengthening the Lower Body, we can produce greater ground force to accelerate our body mass to higher velocities. Strength Training is crucial for Speed!🙌🏻

Output Based training is focused on progression vs work. Every session we try to get a little better. +1 Rep, +5lbs, +0.1mph. Every small improvement adds up. In order to do this, training must be specific. Low volumes, high intensity, frequent exposure.
