It's time! Every year, I rewatch Mawaru Penguindrum, a maximalist, surreal television show about the Tokyo sarin gas attack and its aftermath. How lovely it is to forget consecution, that limited framework, as you watch ambition tether the clutter of metaphor into a tapestry.
