Congratulations Dave Malecek!
UW-La Crosse Wrestling Head Coach Dave Malecek was named the NWCA Division III National Coach of the Year Thursday. It marks the second straight season he earned the honor. Malacek has led UWL to WIAC and NCAA III Regional titles this year with nine wrestlers in the national meet.
UW-La Crosse Wrestling Marcus Orlandoni advances to the NCAA Division III Championship final at 184-pounds with a win by decision (3-2) over Ganon Smith of Elizabethtown University (Pa.) in Saturday's semifinals. The finals start at 6 p.m. (Central).
