Check it out! So cute and so touched! I grew that! 🙌🙌🙌🙌I got a plot to grow vegetables one and a half months ago. The garden is downstairs from my apartment, and that makes things very easy. I took care of my plants every other day. One month’s work has paid off! UC Irvine

I am truly humbled and honored to receive AGU (American Geophysical Union) Macelwane Medal. I owe this recognition to my mentors, collaborators, students & postdocs. Some of them are in this photo taken right after the honors ceremony. Thank you all for making my journey very exciting! #AGU2019

In a study led by Yunxia Zhao we analyzed the global hottest, coldest & extreme diurnal variability on #Earth. The world’s highest Land Surface Temperature of 80.8°C, observed in Lut Desert (#Iran) & Sonoran Desert (#US/#Mexico), is 10°C above the previous global record in 2005.
