Client complained because I used ‘derzeit’ in a translation where they would have preferred ‘momentan’. They claimed the translation sounded like done by a non-native speaker. Can we defend ourselves against such defamation in pursuit of a price reduction? #xlate

Fortunately, I am still working on the job and have advised that I will only proceed once the client has confirmed that they want me to continue despite my crap bloody forrin lingo.
