This little fella popped into my garden to say hello this morning and went to some pretty impressive lengths to avoid his furry little toes getting cold in the frost 😂 🐈 ❄️

It's about time you knew more about this clock!👇 The clocks will soon be changing, but did you know that the Bar Convent houses one of the oldest clocks with the longest pendulum in York?

Out in the middle of nowhere in the Calder Valley is a farm that goes by the name of, Egypt. Its name arose in the 18c when it was common to give remote dwellings a name that suggested they were a long way away.

It’s a shame Bootham Crescent was not the backdrop for the centenary celebrations. The place deserved that honour. So much of our history and memories took place at our very own Jorvik Theatre of Dreams. #ycfc

Just gonna twang the old heartstrings a bit with a low res mono of this morning's #ycfc work. Incredibly lucky to be able to be part of making a record of the place that generations of Yorkies put their time, their soul and their patient support into over many, many years...

Not the thickest of #thicktrunktuesday but Wow what beauties these old boundary trees are😍~such character and the stories they are telling Adam Treeshepherd Rutsch . ‘They struggle with all the force of their lives for one thing only:to fulfil themselves according to their own laws’

2022, final demolition of Bootham Crescent. Since the '30s a lot of Yorkies put their lives and livelihoods into keeping football at the heart of our city. This was a great little ground, our home. I certainly grew to appreciate its unique presence, character and history. #ycfc

It’s #PloughMonday, the day that traditionally saw the resumption of work after Christmas. In some regions it was common for a plough to be hauled from house to house accompanied by a man in the role of the ‘fool’ and someone dressed as an old woman called the ‘Bessy’.

Climate damage is the result of our insatiable lust for more this, more that, and so it will remain until we ourselves return to nature, dead or alive. Take a day off.

And in that silence we conjoin, never to be lost, beyond all framework, beyond life and death, beyond the dualities which will, should we so allow them, confound us into stupidity.
