Second graders Hunter Street Elementary have been working on their collaboration skills! Students practiced polite agreements and disagreements as well as how to ask clarifying and extension questions. Building these collaboration skills will help students have strong academic conversations!
Collaboration is hard work! Mrs. Farley's and Mrs. Nestlehutt's first graders Hunter Street Elementary worked to piece together an American Flag to celebrate Veteran's Day. Students had to communicate clearly and work as a team to figure out where each piece fit into the finished product.
