Key issues discussed were,

3/3: By collaborating, advocating, and pushing for legislative change, we aim to create a safer, more equitable future for all girls, free from the harms of child marriage and gender-based violence. Together, we can make a difference. #EndChildMarriage #EndVAWG

2/3: Our focus included understanding the sexual offenses bill, its current status &the pivotal role Girls First Fund partners play in advocating for its passage. We also delved into unpacking the #DomesticViolence Act & Children’s Act, emphasizing Uganda's ratification efforts.

1/3: Day 2 of the advocacy training held by CEDOVIP went on well with fellow Girls First Fund partners. Together, we continue to recognize the crucial role of partnerships in combating #ChildMarriage and violence against women and girls.

Today, we wrapped up our 3-day Girls First Fund grantee training. We delved into characteristics of effective advocacy messages, developing them, and sustaining advocacy efforts to #EndChildMarriage . It's been an enriching experience, sharingknowledge on this complex issue.

Earlier this week, I attended a very informative advocacy training by CEDOVIP alongside dedicated partners of Girls First Fund, all striving to end child marriage and teenage pregnancies. There has been so much to learn as we continue to work hard to #ChildMarriage

Day 2 of the Girls First Fund grantee training was incredibly successful. We dug deep into the implication of the sexual offences bill and discussed the pivotal role GFF partners play in advocating for its passage.
