On 5th July we had a YESS Bus meeting with the Chief commissioner ,the National Team, The yess coordinator. The aim of the meeting was to discuss about the achievements of the yess taskforce team for the last 6 months. We also planned new strategies for the rest of the journey.

Today is a great day, together with the National Coordinator, the International commissioner deputy, the Burundi Girl Guides Association’s Staff, the professional participant and the Yess taskforce members went to welcome at the Airport the Yess Alumni coming from the exchange.

The Burundi yess 2023 participants and the Yess taskforce trained 30 children at the SOS primary school. They talked about hygiene and they also helped the children to practice their English through a Sketch.

For the National Youth Conference, we had a session with the Former President of the Africa Region, Larissa Byll Cataria and a Girl Guides who is a businesswoman. They shared with us their experience as empowered Women, how to trust is our dreams and to fight for it.

On 14th September, Amie Neila Bigirimana conducted her Back to my Roots successfully on The Red Pride campaign. 48 Young Women of Gatumba Refugees Camp attended the training on how to make reusable pads.
