This is a wise mindset to have while dating, but as a married woman I recently realised that this mindset was a trauma response to seeing women being called a liability or looked down on because of their financial dependency.

I do not ever want to be seen as a liability and if I can’t afford it then perhaps I don’t really need it.

So my husband still complains about how I always find a way to refund his dash money while I am doing therapy and asking God to heal my heart.
