YRCS is continuously working to support those affected by the severe rainfall. The YRCS provided emergency essential supplies of food and non-food items to 172 affected families in Al Maqbanah district of #Taiz.

In #Al-Bayda, the YRCS is actively responding to the emergency caused by heavy rainfall. YRCS distributed Food & NFIs to 30 families. Additionally, damage assessments have been conducted in the flood-affected several places.

The YRCS team worked alongside the Civil Defense to assist in the evacuation of families affected by the floods that swept through several directorates, and villages in #Hodeidah and #Mahweet.

📷 In #Mahweet, the YRCS is actively recovering bodies in Al-Milhan following the collapse of a water barrier caused by heavy rains yesterday. Reports indicate that 29 people are missing, and the YRCS has recovered 11 bodies and a half-human remains so far.

In #Dhamar, YRCS is tirelessly responding to the heavy rains and floods. In Bani Musa, emergency teams are conducting search and rescue operations, transporting the injured to hospitals, and distributing essential non-food items (NFIs) to 23 affected families in Wadi Al-Khashab.

YRCS continues its response as part of the emergency plan to address the disaster caused by heavy rains and floods in #yemen due to climate changes. In #Dhamar, We provided essential food & NFIs to 50 affected families. In #Bayda, food & NFIs were provided to 12 affected families

Following floods in #Milhan #Mahweet, affected people were forced to relocate to other areas. YRCS accompanied them on foot to a safe location, where the camp was set up and NFIs were distributed to 64 families. YRCS is continuing to provide emergency response since the disaster.

YRCS is rehabilitating the water network in Bousan, #Dhamar, benefiting over 7,000 residents with clean drinking water. The project covers 14 neighborhoods, installs new water pipes, constructs a 50m³ tank, and expands solar power to 42 kW. Funded by the EU under the PPP.
