Happy Earth Day!
Looking for ways to celebrate with us? Whether at home or in a national park, there are many things you can do to make an impact protecting nature. Water, lands, and air are all connected. How do you practice #ConservationAtHome ?

Tomorrow is #BatAppreciation day. Some species can eat 1000’s of flying insects a night! There are 13 species of bats in Yellowstone. Your neighborhood probably has some too. Check out go.nps.gov/bats to learn how to live alongside these helpful creatures.
In honor of #NationalVolunteerWeek , we want to take this opportunity to thank our dedicated webcam volunteers who remotely steer the Old Faithful live-streaming webcam to view geyser eruptions as well as wildlife in the basin, like these wolves last February. #NPSVolunteer
Give wildlife room, use a zoom! The safest way to view wildlife is through a telephoto lens, a spotting scope, or a pair of binoculars. Don't approach, follow, or feed any animal. Stay 100 yards from bears and wolves and 25 yards from all other animals. #YellowstonePledge
The night sky has inspired us for generations. Nighttime views and environments are among the critical Yellowstone features we protect. The night sky is more than a scenic canvas–it’s part of a complex ecosystem that supports both natural and cultural resources. #DarkSkyWeek
