Facts. As the Gold Cup final beats, I’ll never forget that Bob Bradley and a transition year roster were rolling a great Mexico team in an attacking, stylish Golf Cup final and then Dolo’s hamstring quit working. US soccer fired Bradley and hasn’t truly found itself since.

Dempsey is absolutely the best US player ever still. It’s a straightforward pick too, given how impactful Clint was at club and in the biggest moments for the national team.
