HIGH TIDE brings flooding in Old Town Alexandria ⚠️ Looks like most businesses here are staying dry and floodwaters are already starting to recede. Police still have most of Union St blocked off to cars and trucks — and that helps keep water out of storefronts. DC News Now
This morning crews are cleaning up the aftermath of a Hartford County home explosion. It happened on Sunday after reports of gas odor. The home owner and a BGE worker were killed. A next door neighbor was injured and 12 families are displaced. DC News Now

Sad news today.. 100-yr-old Washington Commanders fan Melba Jacobson has passed away. It was a pleasure to interview her each of the past 2 years & get to know her & her wonderful family. It was so nice to see Melba interact with “her boys” out at camp. May her memory be a blessing.
