I'm🤗 to participate in the sapiensmulier Initiative leadership summit today. It was an honor to speak on Building Inclusive Leadership, focusing on The Gambia. The session highlighs👱‍♀️ leadership in The Gambia, challenges and barriers faced by 👱‍♀️ in leadership roles.

I am pleased to have joined other CSOs and key stakeholders for a 2 day multi-stakeholder convening meeting on #FGM. The purpose of this gathering was to reinforce our commitment and strategize on effective advocacy and implementation concerning FGM. #EndFGM

I participated in a caravan tour on behalf of The Girls' Agenda, organized by Network Against GBV-The Gambia 🇬🇲, in CRR&WCR. This was to raise awareness on GBV. We engaged with community members and conducted outreach programs in schools to amplify the voices of communities & advocate to end violence.

Exciting New Beginnings in 2025 From January 6th-11th, 2025, I took part in a nationwide tour with the MoGCSW on GBV and Women Empowerment. This event gathered b former and current lady councilors & Tundoo Baama/Bajeni goh, to enhance their knowledge on GBV.

It was an 🤗to have participated in a 4 days multistakeholder engagement on FGM with religious leaders and the civil society coaliation. This training served as an opportunity to increase awareness, build strategic partnerships and strategies geared towards ending FGM. UN Women

_ I was honored to represent my office, The Girls' Agenda at the 2-day National Conference on 👩‍⚖️Political Participation and Representation in The 🇬🇲, held under the theme: “Breaking Barriers, Building Power: Advancing Women’s Political Participation and Representation in The 🇬🇲.”
