Good news is happening for the Yakima Basin Integrated Plan. The Cle Elum Pool Raise project will receive $5 million in Bipartisan Infrastructure funding to increase the reservoir’s capacity to manage instream flows for fish and shoreline protection mitigation for the pool raise. #CPNRegion

How do you put fish back into a river? Check it out ⬇️ Our Yakima Basin Integrated Plan partners at the Yakama Nation and Kittitas Reclamation District are bringing back salmon to upper Yakima River tributaries. They've placed 72 coho into Little Creek with more on their way today! 🐟

Congratulations to YBIP partner, the Yakama Nation! NOAA funding under the BIL is to be used to reopen migratory pathways, restore access to healthy habitat for fish, and build tribal capacity to participate in developing and implementing fish passage projects.
