For anyone wondering why the WGA is fighting so hard to mandate minimum writers' room size, it's to prevent practices like this from becoming the norm:

#SAGAFTRAStrike: Mike Schur, co-creator of "Parks and Recreation" and creator of "The Good Place" says scare tactics won't work this time and "Everyday that goes by where nothing is getting made is another day where they have nothing new to offer their subscribers"

Frequently I hear the argument the studios are “happy to not have to spend all this money on content” and are “freeing up so much cash.” That’s like saying “I freed up so much cash not buying any food or water.” True! And also you’ll be dead soon because you need food and water.

The picture is blurry because I’m shaking and can’t quite believe it, but Green Envelope just hit 100k in donations. Truly blown away by the generosity of everyone who has donated and shared this little fund that could. #wgastrong #greenenvelopeaid #strikefund #sagaftrastrong

a short 🧵! Back in May, when it became clear we were going on strike, I got real sad. Because I remembered the last strike. How the AMPTP plan to play unions against each other worked. How the picket lines swelled at first but after a few weeks, thinned out. Not this time.

I will have many things to say… But for now let me shine the light on you brilliant writers who brought solidarity and resolve to another level in this 146 day fight. #wgastrong ain’t just a hashtag. Now it’s SAG-AFTRA’s time and we got them. 💪🏼

So proud to be in this photo. And if you zoom in, you can see my bacon cheeseburger, as well as the short stack I ordered “for the table.”
