🌍HOW TO COMMENT🌎
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
your objection doesn’t need to sound big or clever - it can be one sentence - it just has to clearly state that you OBJECT UKOG’s proposal to drill for oil and natural gas on our island.… instagram.com/p/CCGOuRCJoys/…

“People need to see these [bleaching] events not as depressing bits of news that adds to other depressing bits of news. They are clear signals the Great Barrier Reef is calling for urgent help and for us to do everything we can.”

'Out with the global attachment to economic growth and laws of supply and demand, and in with the so-called doughnut model devised by Raworth as a guide to what it means for countries, cities and people to thrive in balance with the planet.'

While the human world descends into madness, something hasn't changed: toad season. On my walk today I counted 28 toads along a stretch of about 100 metres. I couldn't move a few paces without almost stepping on one.

ordinary people being blamed for going outside or taking public transport when they don't have a choice is EXACTLY the same trope as ordinary people being blamed for using plastic, eating meat or driving a car. it's ableist, classist and is designed to shield the real villians.

Today a court hearing starts that will decide if PreemSverige will be allowed to expand their oil refinery in Lysekil, making it the biggest CO2 source in Sweden.

I wonder where in the IPCC’s CO2 budget anyone might think there would be room for this ...

Today is and we recognise that women are still far from equal to men in today’s societies.
We can not have climate justice without gender equity.

And remember; what we women want today - and every day- is equality, not congratulations or celebrations.
