So what's the community consensus on AnyCubic ripping off Klipper to create KobraOS and OrcaSlicer to create their "Slicer Next", and not releasing the source code for either as per the license agreement? Do we get our pitchforks out or do people not even care at this point?

A good target for the BenchBin would be to have the purge volume fully contained within the finished print. We’re not there yet with this current generation of single nozzle multi-color printers.

This is getting out of hand..... stop forking Orca please... And if you absolutely must, respect the license and release the source code!

Prusa’s MMU is easily the most underrated multi-color solution. While everyone is raving about tool changers they’ve had purge waste nearly solved for a long time now. I only wish it had a smaller footprint and an enclosed design.

YGK3D Funny enough, we JUST tweeted a solution to what you mentioned. Our firmware team is also working on some wild improvements that we will get to share quite soon x.com/Prusa3D/status…

Of the 10+ Centauri Carbon 2 reviews posted today, how many do you think called Elegoo out for violating the open source Klipper license? I haven't watched them all, so I don't know the answer, but I can say that I did my part. youtu.be/apR0V14jUIE?si…

Imagine designing what would the most technologically advanced printer on the market (multi-color, 5 axis), only to water it down with AI features like “talk to print” and pairing that with a cringe commercial.

I called out AnyCubic in my Kobra X review for obsoleting the Ace Pro so quickly (not compatible with Kobra X). This redeems them a little: Ace 2 Pro offered at a 50% discount to original Ace Pro owners.
