Big news! 📣 The government has today announced the introduction of a national lung screening programme. We are proud to have helped pave the way to this announcement through the funding of the pioneering Leeds Lung Health Check 💙 yorkshirecancerresearch.org.uk/news/national-…

The Leeds Lung Health Check was one of the first screening programmes to introduce lung CT scans on a mobile unit that travels to shopping centre car parks. Professor Matthew Callister has hailed today’s announcement as a “landmark decision in lung cancer care in this country”.
