Our Two Main Take-Aways: Initial fluency in math & reading and working memory have greater impacts on subsequent mathematics performance. The effects of certain initial skills on subsequent mathematics change with students’ age and the time lag between assessments.

Check out this new research from Xin Lin! She designed an intervention focused on fraction vocabulary - which helped students improve their knowledge of fraction vocabulary! This was Xin's College of Education dissertation project. The Meadows Center for Preventing Educational Risk buff.ly/3OOB4eD
