Over the last two days, I've had very good working sessions w/ my colleagues at the NATO Foreign Ministerial Meeting. We discussed NATO's continued support to #Ukraine 🇺🇦, collaboration w/ our partners in the Indo-Pacific region 🌏& preparations for the #NatoSummit in Washington.

Today we celebrate the 75th anniversary of NATO, which has been instrumental in preventing conflict, preserving peace & spreading democracy in Europe.🕊️ Amid an unpredictable global security environment, our unity is more important than ever. Together we are stronger and safer.

Very good exchange with Janez Lenarčič about 🇱🇺’s partnership w/ EU Civil Protection & Humanitarian Aid 🇪🇺, the humanitarian situation in Gaza, Ukraine & Sudan, as well as the potential of humanitarian innovation and the efforts needed to make humanitarian systems more efficient & close the existing funding gap

In the face of ongoing conflicts, displacement & natural disasters, int’l solidarity remains crucial to addressing global humanitarian needs.

At #EHF2024 , I reaffirmed that 🇱🇺 will continue to support people in humanitarian need & allocate at least 15% of ODA to humanitarian aid

Good discussion with Johannes Hahn on the need for common efforts to keep Luxembourg's attractiveness for agents working for the 🇪🇺 institutions. For its part, Luxembourg is determined to continue enhancing and promoting 🇱🇺 as the seat of the European
institutions.
