We are celebrating our last night in Paris 🇫🇷 with a disco 🪩

Good morning from Paris! 🇫🇷 We are packed, eaten breakfast and on our way! But first to Chocolat de Beussent-Lachelle / Hazebrouck 🍫

Our Reception children showed brilliant collaboration when taking part in a Commando Joe session. They worked together as a team to collect some pretend food. They showed amazing turn taking skills and supported their team members by cheering for each other.

Thank you to Cedric and all Chocolat de Beussent-Lachelle / Hazebrouck we had a wonderful time learning about (and tasting 😋) chocolate! 🍫

Whilst we were is Paris 🇫🇷 we celebrated 2 birthdays! Thanks to PGL Schools & Groups for the birthday cake 🎂 🎈🎁 what a wonderful birthday weekend the girls have had!

🇫🇷Paris update. Having arrived at Calais with plenty of time we have been notified that there are delays at customs. Our current ferry crossing is now 19:00. We will continue to keep you updated as we have more information.

🇫🇷Paris update: unfortunately we have been subject to a significant delay at customs. We are now through however we will now be boarding the 10:25pm ferry crossing. The children are all safe and happy and in good spirits. ☺️

🇫🇷Paris update: We have boarded the ferry and we are tucking in to delicious burgers, chicken nuggets and veggie noodles 🍔🍜 We will keep you updated on our arrival and ETA. Thank you for your patience!

🇫🇷Paris update: we have safely crossed the channel and arrived at Dover. Our current ETA is 2:40am. We appreciate your patience and understanding. As we will be very late returning we understand that you may need / wish to keep your child at home tomorrow for a day of rest.

Year 4 have arrived at Dearne Valley and are ready for a fun filled day!

Year 4 children have had a fantastic and busy day, showcasing our school values in all of the activities. We have left Dearne Valley and are on our way home. We are due back to school for approximately 6pm but we will update as we get closer if this time changes.

Year 4 update, we are just getting off the motorway and should be with you in about 5 minutes.

We are ready for the Yr 6 Leavers Party! 🎉 🪩

In Reception, we have been learning about being kind and sharing with our friends. We have read the book 'The Rainbow Fish' and enjoyed sharing our own shiny paper scales with friends in our class.

After our Harvest assemblies earlier in the week, today the Community Team gathered together the generous donations from our families. We had over 800 items donated! They will be going to food banks to support our local community. #contribution

In Yr 6 this term, we have been learning about light and reflection. This week we applied our knowledge and understanding to construct working periscopes.
