This morning, we visited St Mary's de Wyche Church. We sang some songs to celebrate spring time and Easter and listened to Rev. Paula Honniball tell us about the meaning of #Easter.

Science Connections Fair at Wychbold First and Nursery! We had a cardiac scientist, doctor, nurse, physio, geologist, vet nurse, chemist and more visit us to help us learn all about careers in science! There was even real heart, lung and liver dissections! A brilliant evening!

Our Y4s had an amazing time at Pioneer Centre last week for their residential. It was brilliant to see them all challenge themselves to step out of their comfort zone!

We will be joining in!

As a part of our 'People who help us' work, Robins have had a visit from a real-life paramedic with his ambulance! We thought carefully about our values, especially #trust and #safety.

We loved our football match against Cutnall Green on Friday and we are sure it was the first of many! Not a win for us but it's certainly got Mr Ayers feeling competitive - watch this space 📷!

Mrs Maycroft and her group have been exploring our forest school, making nests and researching the birds that may use them.

This week, Robins visited FSC Bishops Wood to explore their outdoor habitats. They were so fantastic and loved building habitats for woodland creatures as well as exploring the meadows, pond and woodland!

Our Year 4s, Eagles, have spent the afternoon in our forest school grouping and categorising animals for their science lesson. They found so many interesting insects!

This morning, Rachel from the RSPCA (England & Wales) came to speak to us about how they help animals and keep them safe. We had lots of questions and loved hearing about their work. Thank you!

Robins and Starlings braved the rain today for our (already rescheduled!) sports day . They were all fantastic and showed #respect cheering for their classmates!

The sun finally came out for our sports day! Years 2, 3 and 4 had a fantastic afternoon and we had a brilliant turnout from our grown-ups, too. Thank you to everyone, including our Friends of Wychbold First and Nursery School for the refreshments!

Our coronation mural is up! Every member of our school has their own tile on display; we think it looks fantastic! A big thank you to Green Frog Pottery in Malvern for their resources and design.

It is the last day of the term and the school year. We would like to congratulate you all on your accomplishments this year. We wish all year 6 and year 4 children in our first schools the very best as you move onto the next stage of your learning. Have a fabulous summer break

What a lovely afternoon! Thank you, Westacre Middle School, for hosting the Year 2 Multiskills Festival, and thank you to Wyre Forest SSP for organising it. Our children had a great time developing their physical literacy.
