MORE WIND - while these won't be constant speeds, gusts up to 30-40 mph are possible on the back side of a departing low pressure system later this morning into the afternoon. This could cause some additional tree or power line issues.

Latest HRRR guidance still showing potential for gusty winds (40+) associated with MCV moving through central MS and/or a possible wake-low immediately behind some of the heavier rain shields later today (between 2-5p).

Downstream tornado watch likely to be issued soon across parts of south-central MS in advance of TX/LA storms. Unclear how far north this will spread, but the highest tornado potential looks to stay south of I-20.
