On 24th July, 2020, my Stanbic IBTC account was debited twice at 8:37:03am and 8:38:05am respectively after initiating a single transaction using the supposed updated Stanbic IBTC app. I immediately called and complained to customer service at 8:49am about the situation and was

the problem they created. This is unacceptable customer service behaviour from a bank of such repute. As it stands now, it appears that once a customer's account is debited due to a network error on Stanbic IBTC app, a reversal is impossible and money is lost.
