Better Streets for Newham One of the reasons I gave up the car was because for local journeys it was slow + travel time varied so I don’t see cycling as a slow way to travel. It can take up to 2 hours to travel Stratford to Walthamstow by car if traffic is bad. 20 minutes on a bike regardless of traffic.
