People don’t get much more peculiar than these carved stone heads at All Saints Church in #Gresford! The church is recorded in the Domesday Book, and it was almost wholly rebuilt in the fifteenth century 📷 Iain Wright, CB_Arolygu / RC_Survey, 2009 coflein.gov.uk/en/site/165221/ #PeculiarPeopleDay

Bryn Alyn Camp, #Wrexham, is set upon a summit almost totally surrounded by a deep meander of the River Alun. It incorporates and uses of some of Wat’s Dyke for its own defences. The camp has a south facing entrance 📷Steve Morris, 2008 coflein.gov.uk/en/site/94754/ #HillfortsWednesday
