Housing staff at the Region of Waterloo have worked extremely hard to address the unsheltered crisis in the community. The outdoor shelter is something. Thank you to the regional staff, The Working Centre & community partners.

What a blessing to see over 800 people support The Working Centre tonight at this year's Mayors Dinner! May people continue to give generously so people struggling to find housing can simply live.

It's the night of the 34th Mayor's Dinner! The cause is Responding to Homelessness, and we couldn't do it without the help of our generous donors and sponsors. Let's make a difference together!

Thanks to Joe Sanutto & team at Collins Clothiers for sponsoring the tuxedos for the The Working Centre Mayors’ Dinner tonight. I admit, it’s the first time I asked my husband for advice getting dressed 😉 Looking forward to a classy evening raising $$ to support housing & homelessness

Why is it called the Mayor's Dinner? It all began as a public dinner to celebrate Dominic Cardillo's 25 years as a local politician, way back in 1989. The event was a huge success and the idea expanded, with Dominic's agreement, to become the annual Mayor's Dinner.
