2 day workshop by Natural Dye artist Katrina Wilde for our Fashion Students from Visual Arts. She is working with the students on the commission they have for MOSI. They dyed a 50m organic cotton that is to be displayed at MOSI in Feb 2024! 👏

Computing Year 13 students had an informative session this afternoon on Your Tech Future work experience offer with EY Foundation and Civil Service! This experience would help these young people build competitive skills to then apply to Civil Service tech apprenticeships 💪

Thank you Stepping Hill Hospital for coming in and speaking to our Health & Science T level students on what to expect from their placement. The students had a training session on first aid and using ward resources to support patients. Good luck to those commencing soon!

Our Health & Social Care students visited the Care Suite provided by Manchester Local Care Organisation last week - they were shown functions of each equipment and how to use them. We love to see this level of engagement with our young learners!👏

Our Foundation to T level Business and IT students had a #tlevelthursday event with Lloyds Banking Group this morning as a part of #NAW After learning about the placement offer and student experiences, students participated in a #DEI hackathon focusing on benefits at work!👏

Digital T level and B. Tech learners had a talk delivered by voktis - they learnt about Voktis and their placement offers. The CEO Mohammed Hadi highlighted the culture at Voktis and how they nurture young talent! We love to see such representation from Industry Leaders!👏
