Thanks to KinsaleLitFestival in Kinsale for having me and for the warm welcome for both myself and Jacob. Thanks to Shane Coleman for the interview and to everyone who came 🙏 I'm starting to get some perspective on Ghost Mountain and I'm enjoying swimming around in that world again.
At KinsaleLitFestival I mentioned this painting by Brendan Flaherty "O Merciful God, Carry Me ... But Not To My Grave," which I chose for my office. I think of Christopher in Ghost Mountain as a composite of this boy, the mad kid in Winter by The Fall, and myself.

EXCITING NEWS- I wrote a play and Duke Special wrote some cracking songs for it and the good folks Replay Theatre Co are producing it. It’s for big and little people. It opens Lyric Theatre Belfast March 14th and runs for 2 weeks. Tickets on sale now. Grab them before they hop away.
