The cold weather is a reminder that we need @uklabour's plan to build clean power and insulate 19m homes.

Still, the responses for Tom Collins and Cllr Jenny Barnes were warm!

More on the missed opportunity that is 'levelling up.'

Worcester needs political leadership with real vision, rooted in the local community and who understand the city we could be.

We need to see Tom Collins MP and Lynn Denham 🌹🌻🇺🇦 leading the CC.

What sort of system expects our city, and others like it, to beg for funding from Westminster in a beggar-thy-neighbour competition?

A Tory one.

We need a Labour government, and a Take Back Control bill that will empower Worcester to make our own decisions.

The Levelling Up Fund is fundamentally corrupt because it is discretionary and competitive. It doesn’t allocate on the basis of need. It is politically biased because Tory MPs are secretly briefed about it and funds are allocated by party affiliation.

The Levelling Up Fund is in chaos, beset by delays and allegations of favouritism. And despite today’s announcement, communities across the country are still paying a Tory premium for the last 13 years.

This wave of strikes is the result of 13 years of Tory neglect.

That reality can't be solved by robbing workers of their right to strike... but last night, that's precisely what Robin Walker and @conservatives voted to do.

Thirteen years of wrong-headed energy policy from the Tories has helped bring us here.

We need a Labour government than will invest in renewable generation, tackling climate change while weaning us off expensive fossil fuels.

EXCLUSIVE: Just 30% of voters say they are aware of new law requiring photo ID at polling stations, meaning millions risk being turned away from polls in May.

Only one-in-ten say they've received info from local authorities about the new requirements. bylinetimes.com/2023/01/16/mil…

Our local hospitals are spending millions of pounds a year on agency doctors & are in the thick of a staffing crisis. Meanwhile our Conservative government is not funding a single place in Worcester University’s new Medical School for UK national students.
