A man was arrested this morning following community concerns over suspected drug dealing in the city centre.

A 34-year-old is currently in custody on suspicion of possession of class A drugs and shoplifting.

Today PC WIGGINS 22461 has been at the Belmont Care Home for senior living, John Comyn Drive, Worcester. She has been giving advice to the residents around fraud and the kind of scams people use to take advantage of the vulnerable.

18th - 24th March marked Anti-spiking intensification week. On Weds 20th officers visited bars & clubs in Worcester City Centre, educating the public around drinks spiking & offering bottle stoppers to prevent this. Staff & managers also given advice to prevent drinks spiking.

On Wednesday 20th March 2024. I visited HSBC bank, Broad Street Worcester. Where I spoke with a number of people about Fraud and answered any question they may have. I also handed out leaflets so people could take the information away with them. Pc 22427 Hill
