Thanks to the brilliant volunteers who helped today with our monthly litter pick. The sun came out and made it into a glorious hour or so, with a load of bags of rubbish collected.. great work. We pick on the last Sunday of every month and all equipment is provided.

I’m so proud of all of our volunteers today, regular and new faces and a great turnout from GoodGym. We had around 30 people in all, hard workers who all stepped up to help the common after recent flytipping. The best of society! We litter pick on the last Sunday of every month.

Hi all - we will be running the litter pick this coming Sunday 29th, from 11am, but because of the extreme heat *we will only be running it for 1 hour max* - to stop at noon. You are welcome to join us, but please bring water if you do. Many thanks

Thanks to our volunteers during a hot litter pick. 7 of us made a real difference. 2 of us had conversations with the travellers who are there currently, both chats amiable, promises made that their litter would be left by the container on haha rd for the mod to collect. 🤞🏼

Thanks as always to our wonderful volunteers who helped litter pick the common this morning. Not huge numbers today, I assume because of summer hols, but the pile of rubbish collected was impressive. A real difference made yet again. We pick on the last Sunday of every month
