Yesterday, our members from the Woodstock Police Service participated in the Coldest Night of the Year walk to support a great cause and raise awareness for those experiencing homelessness.

PEDESTRIAN STRUCK October 22 9:00 pm, we responded to a report of a collision with a pedestrian on Lakeview Dr. The driver of the involved vehicle remained on scene and was cooperative with police. The 43-year-old female was transported to LHSC with serious injuries.

MISSING PERSON WPS is seeking the public’s assistance in locating 15-year-old, Elijah. He was last seen in the area of 405 Springbank Ave N, on Oct 25 at approximately 11:00 am. 5’10” Tall, Slim build, short curly black hair, all black clothes Contact WPS at 519-537-2323.

ASSAULT / FORCIBLE CONFINEMENT November 14, 9:30pm, WPS responded to a residence on Norwich Ave in response to a report of a disturbance. After a short stand-off A 57-year-old male surrendered peacefully to police facing charges of Assault and Forcible Confinement.

01DEC25, 8:00 pm, WPS responded to a residence on Wellington St . A 38 year old male who was on house arrest in St Thomas ON, was located. The male barricaded himself in an upper bedroom of the residence. After a short standoff the male surrendered and was arrested.

Woodstock, ON 02DEC25, 9 pm, a female 38 barricaded herself inside a residence. Police engaged in negotiations. She surrendered peacefully to officers. Police executed a search warrant at the residence and located prohibited weapons, including a taser and pepper spray.

03DEC25 At 7:59 am, WPS investigated a collision that occurred in the area of Huron St and Canterbury St. A 47-year-old male driver failed roadside screening and was arrested and charged with Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle, Impaired Operation and Impaired Over 80.
