Read Across America Fun!!! Fox in Socks reading relay is always a big hit at Woodland!

Mrs. Jeske's room did an amazing job presenting their expertise about their birds! We learned so much today, who knew blue jays have a pouch in their throat that they use to hide acorns!

Kindergarten students spent the week learning about rainbows. They made a rainbow in a cup and studied the different densities of the liquids and how they were able to build a rainbow of colors in a cup without the colors mixing together.

3rd grade students are exploring the deep sea by creating jellyfish divers, coding rolling sea robots and painting in beautiful watercolors as backgrounds to their sea animals.

Our 2nd grade students did an amazing job writing about pollinators before spring break. We want to take a moment to tell them that we are proud of their hard work!

Thank you Ms. Milligan for coming and sharing your experience with Hurricane Katrina. Our 4th graders loved hearing your story, and we greatly appreciate your time.
