#CHARGED | We've charged a man with theft as enquiries continue into phone snatches in Wolverhampton city centre.

The 21-year-old, arrested yesterday in Heath Town, has been charged with one count of theft and conditionally bailed to Dudley Magistrates Court on 16 May.

#CHARGED | A man is due in court today after we seized two knives as we arrested a suspect in the city centre.

Officers from our Priority Crime Team saw a man acting suspiciously.

He made off but was quickly detained in Dudley Street and two knives recovered from a rucksack.

A man, 18, was arrested near West Park on suspicion of sexual assault & was released on bail pending further enquiries.

Last night whilst on patrol, we came across this vehicle. Our checks revealed the car had no insurance policy or valid MOT 🛑

Therefore, we stopped the vehicle and seized it shortly afterwards ✋

The driver has also been reported for the offences ✍️
