We’re creating a scale model of our solar system - styrofoam balls, paper maché and a lot of cardboard was used this morning 🪐 #winnipegsd

The planets are painted! 🎨🪐

Call us the Big Bang because we just created our own solar system! Our planets are all to scale and so are the distances between each planet and the sun. Each planet is 3D and students did all the calculations and research to make this project come alive! #winnipegsd #Space

Today we celebrated the completion of our most recent #WritersWorkshop. Students wrote Ouch Stories; personal memoirs of a time in their life where they got injured. They worked on adding details, their choice of words and varying sentence lengths in this piece of writing ✍️
