Amazing year 3 and 4 classroom display on rivers. We have also linked non-fiction picture books to this topic. This includes “River” by Elisha Cooper a wonderful, gentle canoe trip along the Hudson River ending in New York. #Picturebookpage
Year 1 & 2 are enjoying their new Geography topic the seaside. They also have class texts linking English learning to their geography topic. These include: Above and Below by Hannah Bailey The Sea Beneath my Toes by Charlotte Guillain Ocean Meets Sky by Fan Brothers Tom Brassington
Planting tomatoes for the summer term. We will put our hanging basket outside the entrance to the school. Just waiting for the final frosts to pass before we put it out. RHS Campaign for School Gardening
We really enjoyed our cricket enhancement day with Charlie from Sussex Cricket. Reception to year 6 children all took part.

A recommendation from Ashley Booth means we'll be using The Crown as part of assemblies to consider collaboration & how we impact on the environment.

Year 5 and 6 Have been on a residential last week. They have been doing some very daring things as well making use of the grounds at the centre.
