The Colombian government decided to present a Tax Reform in the midst of a pandemic, this implies raising taxes affecting thousands of Colombians (especially middle and lower class) because the costs of their basic needs would be very high.

The tax reform will do than the lower and middle class pay the 19% on essential services like: water, electricity, gas, internet, transport, sewerage. OTHER ESSENTIALS: All the products of alimentation (meat, rice, milk, etc. ), tampons, medications, books, diapers, gasoline.

This reform will also impose new income taxes on people who earn more than $700 USD a month. (The minimum salary of Colombia it's only $260 USD A MONTH).

Thousands of Colombians came out to demonstrate against this and they are KILLING them for exercising their constitutional rights. They do not let them march or protest, they repress them and they cannot refute against the corruption of the government. Honestly is a civil war.

Apparently the president of Colombia Ivan Duque due to the protest “solicitous” to the congress and the senate eliminate the tax reform but really their plan it's modificade the reform not eliminate. And thus continuing to deceive us as always.

Knowing that the Colombian government lie all the time and are using the principal tv channels and the press censoring and distorcioning the reality how they like only showing the protesters like VANDALS, we cannot stop until prices go back to how they were before REALLY.

The Colombians still fighting for equality, now we are in the streets elders, youngest EVERYONE. Trying to eliminate tax reforms that are implemented in the past and others than will implement very soon. - HEALTH REFORM - RETIREMENT REFORM - LABOR REFORM

ESMAD and Police has the order to attack the protesting citizens with everything. There are multiple cases of abuse of authority against human rights defenders, the elderly, children, EVERYONE. There are not enough shelters, doctors and defense equipment for citizens.

WITHOUT COUNTING THE COLOMBIAN LIVES WHAT WERE KILLED AND MISSING BY THE POLICE IN THAT PROTESTS. 💔
